Ok, I'm a wicked noob when it comes to creating shape /shx files.
After reading everything I can find in the AutoCAD's 'Help menu on creating shape files, I'm going by the 'Vector Length and Direction Code'. I'm trying to make a 'filled in square' and I wrote this code:
Which I was assuming would make a shape that looks like the atttached image.
But when I go to compile the .shp file to make the .shx file I get this error:
Maybe there's a better way to create this shape?

How To Create Shapefile In Autocad
This font is AutoCAD specific and in order to install it you need to copy it in existing folder of AutoCAD fonts. To locate default folder for SHX font click on application menu and select options. In options window click on files tab and expand support file search path you will see location where font is installed. In any case, AutoCAD cannot find the shape file. Search your machine and/or your network for this file. The actual shape file name is located in the file name portion of the “Select Shape File” dialog. If you choose “Ignore the missing SHX files and continue”, then you can continue working in the drawing. Go to File Save As Select DWG as the file format, select the Options button located towards the bottom of the dialog. In the Save As DWG/DXF Options dialog, select the General Tab & then locate 'Fonts' listed in the sections below. Expand the Fonts section by clicking on the Plus. Your drawing contains a text style definition that requires a font file called HBOLD.shx but that file is not where acad can find it on your computer. Either copy that file (HBOLD.shx) to a folder on acad's support path (usually Program Files Autodesk AutoCAD (version number) Fonts) or use the STYLE command to assign a different font to the style. Express menuToolsMake Shape and you will be asked to save the drawing in shp. Save it to the 'Autodesk AutoCAD 2009 R17.2 enu Support' line. Then return to the command bar, enter the name of the shape, enter resolution (default is 128, its ok), specify the base point and select the object you want to create as linetype.

But when I go to compile the .shp file to make the .shx file I get this error:

Anyone out there know why? Can you give me more info on this and what's wrong with my code?Bad shape definition at line 2 of C:Lisptest.shp:

Maybe there's a better way to create this shape?
